Guy Carpenter
MJ Teo is a Vice President of the Cyber Center of Excellence (COE) practice of Guy Carpenter LLC (GC). He joined GC’s Chicago office in November 2021 and has over nine years of experience as a property and casualty actuary.
Since joining GC, MJ is responsible for supporting the Cyber COE and various clients’ needs through analytic capabilities, including but not limited to, reinsurance pricing using both experience and exposure rating, experience benchmarking, reinsurance cost/benefit modelling, etc. In addition, he is responsible for developing one of GC’s proprietary cyber loss model.
MJ graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Science and Risk Management. He is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (AAA).
